HORTI VIENNA was a complete success
Trade fair in Vienna becomes international meeting place for the sector and information exchange
At the first HORTI VIENNA, the Trade Fair for Horticulture and Market Gardening Technology, in Vienna from 27–29 September 2011, 2,056 international trade visitors sourced information about the latest products and technologies for growing flowers, vegetables and ornamental plants from the more than 150 exhibitors and profited from the concentrated expertise. 270 visitors, almost twice as many as initially expected, also obtained information from the top-calibre programme of lectures on current developments and projects presented by the Rural Training Institute (LFI).

Minister Berlakovich to open HORTI VIENNA
LFI programme offers certified training at the exhibition
HORTI VIENNA, the trade fair for horticultural technology in Vienna from 27–29 September 2011, will be the international get-together for the horticultural scene in Central and Eastern Europe. Nikolaus Berlakovich, Austrian Federal Minister for Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management, will open the exhibition at 12 p.m. on 27 September, which will emphasize the importance of HORTI VIENNA for the cultivation of flowers, vegetables and ornamental plants in Austria. The accompanying programme organized by the Rural Training Institute (LFI) offers visitors the opportunity for certified training at the exhibition, with free attendance at all presentations in the programme.

International get-together for Central and Eastern Europe
STUTTGART/VIENNA – HORTI VIENNA from 27–29 September 2011 in Vienna will be the international get-together for the horticultural scene in Central and Eastern Europe. More than 120 exhibitors have already confirmed their presence, including the industry leaders. GBC – GartenBauCentrum Austria is represented with more than 43 stands. The Austrian organic network BIO AUSTRIA, the Viennese Chamber of Agriculture and the German industrial association INDEGA will each present their services in a pavilion at the exhibition. The visitors can also look forward to an extensive lecture programme. HORTI VIENNA will be opened by Niki Berlakovich, Austrian Minister of the Environment.
