Perimeter Protection 2012: Importance of effective perimeter protection on the increase
• The focus of this expanding trade fair: outdoor site security
• Congress is ready with current themes dealing with perimeter protection
Turnstiles, gates, barriers, video cameras and access controls – usually these protection measures are to be found outside a building. However, from 17 – 19 January 2012 fences, gates, etc., have a roof over their heads: in the exhibition hall at the Nürnberg Messezentrum, over three days, products and systems will be on display that can be used to secure outdoor sites belonging to commercial, public and private property. We are expecting 2,000 trade visitors from Germany and other countries in Europe are expected to attend Perimeter Protection, where they can gather information from 83 national and international companies about mechanical and electronic security technology. A 54 % increase in exhibitors compared with the first edition of the event is confirmation that this still young fair is holding up a mirror to a market undergoing change. >> read on

Perimeter Protection Congress 2012: Get the benefit of positive experiences
The Verband für Sicherheitstechnik (VfS) (Association for Security Technology) is organising a two-day congress concurrent with the Perimeter Protection trade fair. On 17 and 18 January 2012 in Nuremberg, prominent speakers from industrial enterprises and design agencies will discuss solutions for optimal perimeter protection. The target audience for the two-day congress includes operators, planners and government authorities responsible for security solutions at the perimeters of business, industry and public facilities. Professionals responsible for the security of large corporations, such as BASF and Telekom, will give presentations on the interaction of mechanical and electronic security systems from the point of view of users. The congress, which is taking place concurrently with the first two days of the Perimeter Protection trade fair (17 to 19 January 2012), is being organised by the Verband für Sicherheitstechnik (VfS). Peter Reithmeier, Managing Director of VfS: "Efficient perimeter security requires a combination of various techniques that are individually customised to the property and the protection objectives. Thus it's the users who have the say at this congress, and participants will benefit from their experience." >> read on

EPPA: sponsor of Perimeter Protection
Perimeter Protection – International Trade Fair for Perimeter Protection, Fencing and Building Security – from 17th to 19th January 2012 has another sponsor, the European Perimeter Protection Association (EPPA). In addition to the “Fachverband mit der Gütegemeinschaft Metallzauntechnik”, the leading German Association for the fencing and door industry, in future the EPPA will also be supporting the organizer duo of H & K Messe and NürnbergMesse in a specialist capacity. The EPPA is a voluntary amalgamation of Europe’s leading manufacturers of security technology systems for open-air sites with the focus on metal fencing and gates. >> read on

Preparations started for Perimeter Protection 2012
First companies already registered for 2012: Perimeter Protection will be presented in Nürnberg for the second time from 17–19 January 2012. The International Trade Fair for Perimeter Protection, Fencing and Building Security celebrated its premiere in 2010 and was convincing right from the start. >> read on

The three-day Perimeter Protection exhibition in Nürnberg ended on Friday, 23 April 2010. 1,620 trade visitors came to the first edition in the exhibition centre to source information on products and systems for site protection. >> read on
