EPPA: sponsor of Perimeter Protection

Perimeter Protection – International Trade Fair for Perimeter Protection, Fencing and Building Security – from 17th to 19th January 2012 has another sponsor, the European Perimeter Protection Association (EPPA). In addition to the “Fachverband mit der Gütegemeinschaft Metallzauntechnik”, the leading German Association for the fencing and door industry, in future the EPPA will also be supporting the organizer duo of H & K Messe and NürnbergMesse in a specialist capacity. The EPPA is a voluntary amalgamation of Europe’s leading manufacturers of security technology systems for open-air sites with the focus on metal fencing and gates.
“We are delighted that in the EPPA we have acquired a sponsor who represents the sector throughout Europe”, said Thorsten Böhm, Project Manager NürnbergMesse. “At the first edition of Perimeter Protection one out of four exhibitors already came from Europe. Our visitors came to Nuremberg from 12 different countries. In future we would like to make the trade fair even more attractive for international visitors. In addition, alongside our German sponsor – Fachverband mit Gütegemeinschaft Metallzauntechnik, Ratingen – in the EPPA we have found an outstanding partner to complement the fair”, Böhm went on to say. Patrick van den Bossche, European Perimeter Protection Association (EPPA), Brussels, explains: “Perimeter Protection is a trade fair exactly tailored to our sector of the fencing and security technology industry. Following the Nuremberg trade fair premiere in 2010, we would in future like to make a stronger contribution in terms of contents by presenting and discussing the current trends and developments in the area of private, industrial-commercial and public security on a European level.”

About Perimeter Protection
Following its premiere last year, Perimeter Protection from 17th to 19th January 2012 is being held for the second time in Nuremberg. Around 100 exhibitors and 2,000 trade visitors from Germany and other European countries are expected. The special feature of the trade fair concept: both fencing as well as security technology are presented to the specialized trade. At Perimeter Protection exhibitors present classic mechanical protection features such as fencing, gates and barriers along with modern electronic systems including video surveillance, burglar protection systems or bio-metric access control systems. The visitors at Perimeter Protection are:
- Security officers (managers) from industry, commerce, transport, water industry, energy and leisure (sport events and similar)
- Security and real estate officers (managers) from the public sector (local and district authorities, federal states and federal government)
